“good place to go and relax”

I had a membership and really enjoyed stopping by on random days to relax and take in the art. I loved going there and plan to renew my membership soon.

“Excellent West Coast view on modern art”

I'm not an art expert, so I rely on museums to be engaging and educational with clear explanations alongside the artwork. SFMOMA does this really well; their audio guide is outstanding, and calling it just an audio guide undersells it since it includes videos and interactive elements with the audio. The collection is top-notch, as you'd expect, giving a solid overview of modern art and what makes the West Coast style unique, especially in the current 75th anniversary exhibition. Just plan to spend a lot of time there—it held my attention for the whole day.
