Lakeside Amusement Park
Park · Denver, CO
About
The crowd at Lakeside Amusement Park is a mix of families and couples, including gay guys on dates. It's been around since 1908 and remains family-owned, one of the few left in the U.S. You get over 40 rides, from bumper cars to a roller coaster, all with a backdrop of the lake and mountains. It's cheap. The vibe is old-school and unpretentious.
The park opens Friday through Sunday only, with hours that let you catch sunset rides. Regulars know the roller coaster is a favorite for two guys. If you're looking for more arts in Denver, the Museum of Contemporary Art is nearby and worth a visit. The park's hours are limited, so plan your weekend trip.

“Great Old Amusement Park”
This amusement park has been operating for a long time. Even though they removed some classic features like the laughing lady, it remains an affordable and enjoyable spot for a date. Riding the roller coaster as two guys is a good time.
