In Times Square, between Broadway and 8th Avenue, Studio 54 has a layered history. It began as a Broadway theatre, then became the legendary disco of the 1970s before closing in 1986. Since 1998 it has been home to the Roundabout Theatre Company, presenting major productions. The mystique of its disco past still lingers in the space.
Shows typically run evenings with matinees on certain days. The theater is known for its excellent acoustics and intimate sightlines. If you also enjoy visual arts, the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) is a short walk away.
