The Red Lantern
Dancing · Karaoke · Fresno, CA
About
This is Fresno's oldest gay bar, a neighborhood fixture since 1976 that draws bears and drag queens into its compact space. The vibe is divey and casual, with a full bar and outdoor seating that includes a smoking area.
Dancing, drag shows, and karaoke rotate through the week, keeping things lively despite the small size. It can get packed on Saturday nights, so arrive early if you want a good spot. Hours are consistent: open every night from 6pm to 2am.
Located in the Fresno-High neighborhood near Maple, this is a local staple within a residential area.

“Really Small”
I don't go out much at night, but I visited on a Saturday. The space was tiny and crowded, but I still enjoyed myself.

“i always hear that there is someone for everyone.”
I'm going off hearsay because I can never find it open. If they'd just update their schedule online, it'd save me a lot of trips.
