About
You might drive right past Club Tempo's strip mall entrance, but inside it's a three-level Latin gay club with three dancefloors. This West Hollywood spot has been around for years, drawing a mixed-age crowd that leans heavily Latinx, with plenty of Spanish heard at the bar and on the floor. Sundays are its biggest night: live Mariachi bands, drag shows, and packed dancefloors, though a numbered wristband system controls access between levels.
The outdoor patio offers a taco bar and relief from the heat, plus a happy hour that keeps prices budget-friendly. Go-go boys and strippers add to the energy on select nights. It's a fun, lively spot for groups — just be ready for the Sunday crowd system if you visit then.
Club Tempo is located in the Hollywood neighborhood of West Hollywood, close to other gay bars like Micky's Weho and The Abbey Food & Bar.

“plenty of eye candy”
I've visited Tempo multiple times over the last year. There are many good-looking men of Latin descent. With three dance floors, you have plenty of options if you want a change of pace. The only downside is that the atmosphere can be a bit off with some of the cowboy types occasionally. I think the older ones still hold onto some of the machismo common in many Latin cultures.

“Great hidden latin gem”
You can't tell from the strip mall entrance, but it's actually very large inside. There are two dance floors downstairs, plus a dance floor and stage upstairs with a nice outdoor patio. Many guys who only speak Spanish come here. The crowd is fun. Sundays are packed with live mariachi bands, dance music, drag shows, and Latin music. One thing I dislike about Sundays is the number system where you have to wait downstairs until your number is called to go upstairs. I guess it's to manage the crowd in each room, but it's annoying. The taco bar on the patio is good.

“Tempo is wild!”
One of the most fun nightclubs in Los Angeles, especially if you like Mexican cowboys. There are more than you can handle.

“Hot Latino Cowboys”
I was skeptical at first, but this club turned out to be a lot more fun than the strip mall exterior suggests. With three dance floors all playing related but different music, you get your fill of attractive Latin men. It gets hot inside, but a terrace with food sales offers a perfect place to rest. There are really nice guys everywhere.

“latin”
I don't usually go where Latinos go; I like to be around hot white blondes, but I was shocked that white guys were there to hit on us Latin guys. Overall this bar was hot: staff, drinks, crowd. Very little attitude. Shocking!
