I went to Hunters for New Year's Eve 2019 and had an amazing time, meeting cool people. The bartenders were fantastic. The $100 Uber from Indio was totally worth it. Can't wait to return. Highlights: great music, attractive bartenders, lively crowd.

I was really let down last Saturday night. I had visited three years ago when the bar was busy, welcoming, and enjoyable. Around 9:30 PM, it wasn't crowded and no one was waiting. I approached the bar with three friends, and the gray-haired bartender (likely a manager) took my order, then shouted 'Just one drink?' due to the loud music. When I asked him to repeat it, he rolled his eyes and yelled the same. Confused, I asked what he meant, and he snapped 'Is that all?' Since I was with others, I said they wanted drinks too. One friend asked for a beer, and he replied 'What kind? We have 40.' Before offering details, he walked off to make my drink, leaving my friends struggling to see the tap and fridge options. He remained unhelpful, listing a few beers and repeating 'We have 40 beers, what do you want?' After we got our drinks, we sat outside because the music was too loud to talk inside, and the smell of cigarette and marijuana smoke was overwhelming. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience, especially for two friends visiting Palm Springs for the first time. I had talked up this bar from past visits, and I felt embarrassed by this encounter. We didn't stay for another round. I am appalled by the bartender's unnecessary rudeness. The friendly vibe is gone, and I won't return. There are plenty of other options in Palm Springs—go somewhere else.

This is a disco bar open after 9 PM. Older guys show up early, younger guys later. It's very popular and gets packed on weekends.
