“Lazy Bear Fun”

I really enjoy visiting during Lazy Bear Weekend. Guerneville is a small town, but I always have a great time when I'm there. This place is a major attraction for Lazy Bear and other holiday or special event weekends around here. I really like their cocktails served in a mason jar—it's a nice-sized jar filled with creative drinks.

“Fun Times”

It's funny that the music here is often better than what's playing at the dance club across the street. Too bad the owners missed the chance to buy the place next door, because then they could have a dance floor too. The crowd is always welcoming, sociable, and quite flirtatious on busy nights.

“Great atmosphere”

Living nearby, I come here to meet up with friends, have their strong iced tea drinks, and get to know visitors here for the weekend. The staff are wonderful, and the bar is right in the middle of town.

“I highly recommend the rootbeer floats”

The Rainbow Cattle Company offers a unique drink called a root beer float, which is similar to a Long Island iced tea in that it's a mix of different liquors. Both are served in huge mason jars, probably quart-sized, for only eight dollars, which is a great deal. The root beer float really tastes like the non-alcoholic version, but if you're lactose intolerant, be aware it contains cream. It goes down smooth and you can hardly tell it has alcohol, but it's very strong, and one drink will last you the whole afternoon. Luckily, our bartender was smart enough to ask which of us was the designated driver. He just had club soda with a splash of cranberry.

“good bar!”

It's so refreshing to go somewhere where you can simply walk in and be your true self. The atmosphere is very welcoming and reassuring, and we encountered many locals who were extremely friendly.
