The name really fits. I love a divey gay bar and this one delivered. It's darker than photos show and on an odd street tourists would never find. Friendly staff, good drinks. If you like dive bars it's great; if not, you'll probably hate it. Strong drinks, total dive.

“The name says it all”
As other reviewers mentioned, this bar feels like it's stuck in the 1970s. It's a true dive bar. Nudity is allowed here, and the bar encourages it. But like many clothing-optional places, the people who get naked probably shouldn't, and those who should be naked aren't. If you're a nudist, this bar is for you, but I didn't enjoy it.

“Love the Hole”
I'm from the East Coast, and whenever I visit San Francisco, I spend as much time as possible at this bar. On my last trip in 2010, I enjoyed being completely naked there, even playing pool nude, which was a lot of fun. The bartenders don't always allow nudity, but when they do, I make the most of it.

“Querky”
This is definitely a unique bar to visit. It has improved a lot since it moved to its new spot on that street. Stop by for a drink without high expectations, since it truly is just a hole in the wall.
