About

Bar: Full barBest nights: Thu, Fri, Sat

A young, hip, mixed gay-straight crowd fills this U Street nightclub most nights. The ground-level dive bar has no cover charge, while the second floor is dedicated to live bands and DJs. There's also a rooftop deck where regulars hang out and watch the sun go down.

Happy hour runs daily, and the full bar keeps things flowing. Check the website for the extensive show schedule; cover applies for the second-floor performances. It's open late on weekends, with Friday and Saturday going until 3am.

“How does this place stay going?”

My partner and I only managed to see the opening act before leaving. Our ears were hurting! And this is coming from someone who enjoys loud bands like Led Zeppelin, The Who, Pink Floyd, and Metallica. The opening act was just terrible.
