“fun time”

I visit this place often when I'm in town, but my recent experience involved a bartender with a bit of an attitude. I'm fine showing my vaccination card, but he should check everyone's at the door and treat them consistently. I wore a mask, but others entered without them and weren't asked. They need to apply rules equally to keep regulars coming back.

“DC landmark”

For better or worse, this is one of those places in Washington that hasn't changed in over 20 years. It's always full of attractive, status-conscious guys, but the two-for-one drink deals (does happy hour ever end?) and show tune Mondays make it hard to dislike.

“Great Staff”

I've been coming to Jr's since 1997, and it's always been a great spot. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is good for meeting friends or making new ones.

“Late night crowd I guess.”

The place was kind of empty. It was hard to get a drink even though no one else seemed to be there. Someone kept telling me people don't arrive until late, and it was already 11:30!

“Great neighborhood bar”

The staff is very friendly and the crowd is excellent. They have the best drink deals around for anyone—gay or straight. Sunday means $3.00 rail drinks and beer all day. On Thursdays, you can get all-you-can-drink specials. And Monday nights feature the best show tunes!
