Just north of the historic U Street Corridor, Thurst Lounge is DC's only black-owned LGBTQ+ bar. This lounge mixes great drinks, food, and hookah with R&B and hip hop beats. It's a love letter to DC's Black Queer community, as regulars say, and draws a mixed crowd in their 20s and 30s. The vibe is relaxed and social, making it a perfect start to your night.
