This small, modest spot is easy to overlook, but you will not want to leave after just one drink. The bartenders are great, the small crowd is lively and enthusiastic about their terrible karaoke, which is exactly how karaoke should be. Very relaxed, friendly people, easy to start a conversation... a true dive bar gem.

“One of Fort Lauderdale's Originals!”

I have lived in Fort Lauderdale for 10 years. Smarty Pants has changed owners a few times, but it remains one of the best local bars in town. It is a friendly, cozy little place. Anyone visiting Fort Lauderdale should stop by. It truly feels like a home away from home. The regulars and the owners are local. For entertainment, there is karaoke, drag wars, a spin-the-wheel duck game, and potluck nights. You will never feel left out. The owners are very genuine and down-to-earth people who truly care about their customers. That is rare in a mid-sized city like ours. Great job, owners. I wish you many more years of success. You are among the rare few who take great pride in your patrons and community. Thank you!

“Smarty panys”

The cleanest bar in town. Always a lot of fun. Eric no longer works there, but the new duck game is awesome and a lot of fun; I won a 20 dollar bar tab. Friday and Saturday are packed for karaoke.
