“Chill hangout in the Gay-bourhood”
Drinks are very affordable, staff is friendly and attractive, the vibe is relaxed, and the music is solid. Park Place is a great spot any night, but especially Fridays and Saturdays. It has a big bar, lots of seats, a nice large patio, and it's part of the King Street District amenities, so it's a great place to begin your evening and likely stay. Parking can be tough, especially on weekends; ride-sharing or a cab is advised. Smoking is allowed indoors, so you'll leave smelling like cigarettes.

“"Go to" gay bar but it should be outdoor smoking only”
Park Place has a great location and the vibe is friendly, relaxed, and not pretentious. I just wish they'd think about non-smokers and make the inside smoke-free. They have a really nice large deck patio that doesn't seem to be used much, for some reason.

“Small but nice club”
Nice atmosphere with a crowd ranging from young to middle-aged, casual to preppy. There are two bars, two pool tables, a small dance floor, and four televisions that play music videos to match the dance floor music. The bathrooms are small but easy to access. Good beer selection and cocktails that are a little strong; bartenders are easy on the eyes and friendly.
