H.G. Rooster's

About
A classic West Palm Beach watering hole, H.G. Rooster's has been serving since 1984. It's a small, friendly spot where bartenders remember your name and your usual drink. The crowd ranges from 20-somethings to 40-somethings, with drag shows and go-go dancers on select nights to keep things lively.
Inside, you'll find a pool table, a jukebox, and plenty of custom fans to keep the space cool. Music videos play across four screens, and the outdoor patio offers a place to smoke or enjoy the Sunday barbecue buffet. The Mad Hatter is nearby if you're bar hopping later.

“Campy Bar with No Attitudes”
Thursday night drink specials bring in a full crowd. The space is on the smaller side and a bit dated, but they host different events throughout the week that can be enjoyable. The patrons are nice, polite, and curious, and they seem to be having fun. Music videos play on screens, and you can also use a jukebox. There's a small outdoor smoking area that doubles as a Sunday barbecue buffet spot. I live here and can say there are basically no gay bars in West Palm Beach. The bartenders are very friendly, they remember your name and your usual drink, and there's no attitude.

“Good Vibes Good People”
They recognize you when you come in and will give hugs if you're having a rough day. Great bar with a mix of people and excellent drink deals.

“Fresh / Festive”
Looks like they recently renovated because the place is clean, modern, well-decorated, and smoke-free inside (smoking is allowed on the nice patio). On this Friday night at 12:07 AM, it's fairly busy with pop/dance music playing and a very mixed crowd of men aged 21 to 55, plus a woman or two. Lots of custom ceiling fans keep it cool. Music videos on four big screens are nice to watch. There's a good stage for shows. Pros: clean and stylish. Cons: none I could find.
