If you're looking for a no-fuss gay bar with hip-hop and a mature crowd, Bulldogs delivers. It's the oldest gay bar in Atlanta (open since 1978) and BIPOC-owned, drawing Black patrons in their 30s to 50s who come for dancing and strong cheap drinks.

The vibe is casual with outdoor seating and a pool table. Expect late nights and a friendly regular crowd. If you're bar-hopping, Blake's On The Park is nearby and worth a stop.

I paid the cover charge and bought drinks and tipped, then asked the doorman if I could step out and come back, and he said yes. When I returned, they refused to let me back in, and the security guard put his hands on me, violently pushing and shoving me. They didn't refund my five dollars. The security guard said I looked homeless and that he didn't want me in the club. I will never go back.

My best friend and I went to Bulldogs last year. It was amazing! Plenty of attractive guys. Great music, cute bartenders, easy parking, fun crowd, excellent happy hour, strong drinks, and overall a fantastic time.

“Love it”

Every time I'm in the city, I have to stop by Bulldogs. I adore the people, the bartenders make wonderful and inexpensive drinks, and the music is fantastic. I love it so much.
