About
Gregs Indy draws a sweaty, dancing crowd that shifts throughout the night. The oldest gay leather bar in the city, it's been open nearly 40 years and still packs in regulars and visitors alike. Expect drag shows, pool tables, darts, and an outdoor patio when the weather cooperates.
Go early if you want a relaxed vibe — the earlier crowd tends to be more welcoming, while later hours bring a rowdier energy. Staff are known for being friendly and accommodating, even looking up recipes on the spot. Drop by before 8pm for the best experience.
Located on Mass Ave, Indianapolis's main arts and entertainment corridor, surrounded by other bars, restaurants, and theaters.

I seem to pick the wrong times to meet new people. I'd really like to go out and enjoy some fun and entertainment.

“Not a review - a question”
Will be visiting Indy soon. I don't go out much at home, but when traveling I like to socialize and maybe find someone for safe sex. Is Greg's the best place to find the hottest guys and a hookup? Sorry if this isn't the right place for this question; if there's a forum for it, please let me know.

“Great place to go before 8”
I love Greg's if I arrive before 8 pm. I've been going regularly since turning 21, nine years ago. The staff has always been great, but I have to leave after 8. Many of the later crowd seem inherently racist, and it's hard to deal with. I go for a welcoming atmosphere, but the ignorance of some guests is too much. I was attacked and called a racist for defending people of color. This is unacceptable in an LGBT space. We should support each other, not have drunk people starting fights. I won't go after 8 anymore, as that's when the racists show up. The staff and service are great, and I spend a lot and tip well, but I can't handle the later crowd. This is the second time my night was ruined by such guests.

“Chill AF”
It wasn't very busy the night I went. My friend and I played darts and pool, which was fun. The bartender serving us was fantastic—I ordered a drink he hadn't heard of, and he immediately looked it up to make it.
