Since this is more of a straight-oriented club, I thought it might be fun to review it in a kind of undercover style. This is really hard for me to review because for dance clubs and trashy people looking to hook up, long lines, overpriced cocktails, and all the things you truly hate about the nightclub scene, this is a standard nasty place. I would rather slit my wrists than stand in line here. However, as others have mentioned, if you can catch a concert here, it's amazing—fantastic. So I have to be fair and give it three stars, but if I were judging just the club aspect, it would get one. If you're not a club person, avoid this place unless you're going to see a live show, which I would rate a four. They host many shows throughout the year with great indie bands, and it's always general admission, so early birds get the best spots. It's also pretty affordable—I've never paid more than thirty dollars for a show here, which I think is a great deal. Otherwise, if you don't want to dance until you're sweating in an inch of disgusting beer on the floor on a Wednesday or Friday night, or spend your money on a poorly made mixed drink—how does someone mess up a vodka tonic?—you might want to avoid it. Yes, the beer is cheap, but big deal—it's nasty. The place is dirty, sketchy, and trashy, filled with a very young crowd that sometimes makes me wonder if they're all using fake IDs, and it's voyeuristic. But if you're looking for a one-night stand, you'll probably get lucky. Ick.
