After 5 pm it's a total dive bar with a mixed crowd, mostly not gay; daytime is fine like the gallery, but avoid after 5, it's not worth it.

I'm amazed at how precisely the bartenders slice limes. My lime slices were only 1/8 of a centimeter thick, which takes real skill to be that stingy. The staff was friendly, drinks were cheap, and the bathroom had a strong odor.

“Good neighborhoody bar”

I enjoy the Drinkery. The name is fitting, haha. Great place for drinks and a party during events like Gay Pride, ArtScape, and others. Coming from DC, Baltimore's Drinkery is a refreshing change from the stiff bars there.

“good times”

Chill, diverse, nice people, and inexpensive drinks. Not upscale but still cool.

“Drinkery”

@jeff5sig - You're correct about those guys. I used to go to the Drinkery often, but now I avoid it because of their behavior. They are loud and obnoxious. The oldest acts like he's superior to everyone; maybe only to those who are jobless or unkempt, haha. Between the other two, I can't decide who's worse: the larger one or the redhead. Both seem to enjoy being mean and rude. In all my years at the Drinkery, they are the worst people I've come across. Know that others share your view, jeff5sig.
