“best place in east village”
We walked around the East Village on a Friday night looking for a big dance club, but like most places in New York, it was just neighborhood bars. I found the East Village a bit sketchy, but the nicest spot was definitely the Phoenix. It's a small, single-room bar with a pool table, a friendly and attractive crowd, but no dance floor.
