“A neighborhood gay bar”
Suite is exactly what a gay neighborhood bar should be. My regular bartender remembers me and my usual drink even though I don't visit often. The staff and local atmosphere keep me coming back. I prefer going early in the evening near opening time because it's calmer for a post-work drink. The only reason I don't give it five stars is that the karaoke crowd can be annoying sometimes, but that's not a reflection on how the place is managed.

Over a year ago. This is the most boring spot in the NYC gay bar scene. Picture countless entitled trust-fund guys from the area, totally out of it and lost in self-absorption. And there's a strong self-hating gay vibe, mixing latent homophobia from one neighborhood with angst from another to create a unique blend of self-loathing. The space itself is just okay, but the crowd combines the worst of Chelsea's preening and the worst of uptown's closet mentality. Definitely one to skip.

“Suite is delightful”
Suite has changed dramatically. I remember when it had a pool table, small booths, and wobbly bar stools. The new Suite is impressive. I was there on Monday night with happy hour all evening. It was very clean, welcoming, and everything was in perfect condition. I'll be going back and will update this review. Highly recommend it. A true gay haven in the neighborhood near Columbia University.

“Suite”
I went to Suite last night because I saw an ad for a beautiful black performer outside. The show was incredible, like a Broadway production in the area. I had never experienced anything like it. The performer was amazing, and everyone there was friendly. I'll definitely return.
