The Stonewall Inn is truly a treasure with an irreplaceable place in queer history, fully deserving a five-star rating. It's legendary and all the acclaim for its iconic role is well earned. The atmosphere is just right, whether you want a relaxed daytime drink or an exciting evening. When the upstairs is open, expect a fantastic drag show and dancing that lasts all night. It's an ideal place to unwind, celebrate, and honor the incredible history of the queer community. And the drinks are strong and affordable, even by city standards—you'll be pleased.

“Cute, laid back spot no real wow factor”

This is a fantastic spot for an early drink, offering amazing, cheap, and strong drinks compared to other places in the area. Once you've had enough to drink, though, it's time to move on.

“Gay Historic Site”

I used to visit the Stonewall and bought a t-shirt and a matchbook (which I framed), but over time I think it has changed, and I haven't gone in ages. I liked it, but there are other places I prefer now.

“We've come a long way LGBT ACTIVISTS”

I like the Stonewall Inn and am proud to have taken part in the Stonewall riots 46 years ago on June 28, 1969. The bar has endured anti-gay and homophobic attacks and still stands as a brave home for all in the LGBT communities. See www.huffingtonpost.com/scott-g-brown for more.
