“Gay bar in a place you wouldn't expect”

I went to this bar last night. It's located in the center of downtown, which feels more like a charming small town away from the city rather than a suburb. The area surrounding the bar is fine. The guys there were quite friendly.

“Tons of fun”

Excellent smaller bar with all the excitement of the bigger venues. They offer karaoke on Thursdays and drag shows or other events on weekends. No pretentiousness like you encounter at other clubs. Drinks are plentiful and some of the most affordable prices around.

“Friendly guys”

I dropped in on a Thursday night around 9:00 (they're only open Thursday through Sunday nights) after dinner just to have a beer and relax for a bit. The bartender was very welcoming, asked my name, and introduced me to the roughly eight people at the bar. It was laid-back, and I enjoyed friendly conversations with the local guys. They had a drag show charity event the next day, and everyone asked if I would come back for it. This is a nice, comfortable, friendly spot to grab a drink. I'm not sure what it's like on weekends—probably much busier—but if you're visiting from out of town and nearby, stop in. Everyone was very warm and inviting.
