Even though it has a smoking patio, MJ's has decided to defy Ohio's smoking ban by letting people vape inside. If you have breathing issues or simply don't want to smell like vape, avoid this place in Dayton. It just keeps getting worse. Long lines, total dive.

“Mjs jefferson”
I find it strange that so many give this place decent ratings. The staff is rude for no reason. Hospitality is not expected here. There are only two ways to be accepted: if you grew up in the local scene, or if you're a young twink or extremely hot. Most patrons have mediocre jobs, with hairdressing being the top, and that reflects their personality. I've lived in several states and found gay bars to be welcoming. Surprisingly, this one enjoys belittling newcomers, especially the salon hair dress types. Their lives seem to revolve around gossip. Clearly, most people here haven't experienced a real life worth living. I recommend going to Columbus instead for a much better hospital scene.

“Recently moved and renovated”
Updated 12/30/2014: This place has improved a lot after moving to where The Vault used to be. It has potential. However, Dayton isn't a city where bars attract the few gay people here. Also, a bad rumor is circulating about this place, which I won't share publicly. If you want to meet someone, don't be picky. Drinks are okay and reasonably priced.
