“Best Place ever”

I was staying at the Jupiter and the Doug Fir was always hopping every night. I was hesitant to check it out since mixed bars aren't common where I'm from in California, but once I went my perspective totally shifted. Lots of cities could learn from Portland—it's the spot to be. Doug Fir, don't ever change.

“great!”

There are really cute and attractive people in this bar. Great music and good-looking folks. Sometimes the drinks can be expensive.

“Great Place”

Doug Fir doesn't just host fantastic concerts; the upstairs restaurant and bar also serves excellent food and drinks. The outdoor patio is the best spot, and the crowd is a typical mix of Portland's 20-to-30-something crowd—hipsters, yuppies, and so on. It's not explicitly a gay venue, but like many places in Portland, queer folks are all over.
