“Love it!”
I especially love the golden margaritas. The place isn't specifically gay, but it's right in the middle of the gayborhood and very gay friendly. It's pricey, but the food and drinks are totally worth it.

“Creative Mex”
The atmosphere at El Vez is excellent, and so is the food. The menu is creative but not intimidating. I recently had the short rib burrito, which was incredible. And the pitcher of margarita I shared with a friend didn't affect my review, though I can't say the same about the attractive server.

Stumbled upon this spot by chance—best chicken Caesar salad I've ever had; the dressing was clearly made from scratch. Check it out, you won't regret it.

“Great Food”
This is definitely one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. The Macho Nachos are listed as an appetizer but really make a full meal. Be sure to book ahead on weekends or you might wait over an hour. The only area for improvement is their specialty cocktails. But don't worry—you're a short walk from the gay-friendly neighborhood where the drinks keep flowing all night.
