“Great fun, great people. A MUST see place”
Went to XYZ based on reviews saying it was the best gay bar in town, and it exceeded expectations. I was worried about a previous comment claiming the owner was racist and a mess, but as a white person with a Black partner, we experienced no racism from the owner or anyone. Actually, the crowd was very diverse, more so than bars in other cities. It's not fancy but a lot of fun. The owner kicked off the drag show with intentionally over-the-top drag, and she was hilarious. I respect her for running a great bar in the South that welcomes everyone. Yes, there are drugs in the back if you want them. I'll return. Also, we loved Knoxville, finding it friendlier than other southern cities. The downtown market square was the best I've seen in the South. Will come back soon.

“Absolutely clean and friendly atmosphere!!!”
I strongly suggest this club. I'm originally from south Florida, and I visited in 2015. The bartender was very kind and made sure everyone's drinks were always full. He was friendly and easy to talk to.

“Horrible. Owner is awful”
Don't go here unless you're a white gay male. The owner is completely racist and also acts as the emcee/drag queen. He looks a total mess and offends everyone, using every racial slur you can think of. Plus, there's a lot of drug use in the bar. You'll leave offended and smelling like an ashtray. Worst experience I've ever had.

“horrable !!!!!!!”
Don't go to XYZ. The owner is rude and one of the drag queens is very nasty and offensive. I've been twice, and only one person said hi. Most people are stuck up, and the prices are bad. It's also in a dangerous area, so watch out for getting robbed or having your car stolen. The shows are repetitive, and it's mostly just a hookup spot, but be careful who you get involved with.
