DRUS Place
Sports Bar · Karaoke · Memphis, TN
About
Pool balls crack in the back while drag performers work the stage. DRUS Place, Memphis' oldest gay bar, stays busy with karaoke, open mic nights, and drag shows throughout the week. The name stands for diversity, respect, unity, and service, and the bar delivers on all four.
You'll find outdoor seating and a mixed LGBTQ+ crowd that includes plenty of regulars. Neighboring Pumping Station is another stop on the same street when you're bar hopping. Pride after-parties unofficially start here.
Located in Memphis' Midtown neighborhood, just down the road from Pumping Station.

“Sucks they only copy folks”
On our last visit, we weren't really shocked that bars in this city can't thrive without imitating others. Good thing other places don't follow that trend. Maybe you all need to bring on a promoter or event coordinator.

“Best Gay Bar!!!”
I adore the welcoming atmosphere. Dru's always has a good band, trivia, karaoke, or a ballgame going on. Best gay bar!
