“Disappointing and Low Class...”
I'm from Santa Fe and was visiting friends in Amarillo, having heard great things about Club 212. It was completely the opposite. The doorman was friendly and engaging, and that was the only positive. The bartender, a large transgender person, was rude and loud. While waiting for my friends, nobody talked to me or even smiled. Drinks were watered down and made with cheap liquor. When my friends arrived, we left for a private party. I'll never return; I was very disappointed. Low class all around. I feel sorry for Amarillo if this is the best gay bar they have.

“WOW”
If you want to go where nobody talks to you and you get nasty looks, this is the bar. No one speaks to you unless you know someone, and everyone gave me dirty looks the whole time. I'll never go back. They made a paying customer feel terrible. Also, their drag shows are awful. Raquel is the only good performer and she doesn't even do Sundays anymore. Sundays are run by a toothless queen who smells and another who talks too much and is a longtime hot mess. It's time for her to retire those heels. 212 needs a lot of improvement.

“Large bar, but not friendly clientele...”
Everyone here seems to know each other and strangers aren't really talked to, except for the very attractive door guy who hit on me. On a Saturday night, the crowd didn't start arriving until almost 10pm. By 11:30 it was pretty crowded. Drink prices are fair, but overall it's just a so-so, humdrum atmosphere.
