“The Staple of Gay Richmond!”
I love Barcode. Everyone, from management down, is delightful and accommodating, and the crowd is engaging. The food goes way beyond typical bar fare—it's well-prepared with generous portions. You won't find a better-priced drink anywhere in the city. The only thing missing is a dance floor.

I arrived at 1:25. They say they're open until 2, but the bartender wouldn't serve me or anyone else. They should update their signage to match what they actually do. If you're open until 2, you usually serve until 1:45 and close the doors at 2. I guess the staff just wanted to go home.
