My friend and I didn't eat, just visited from out of state. I felt at home the moment I walked in, even before discovering the back tiki bar. It's dog friendly. We had a very relaxed time. The bartender paid great attention to us. The place looked great. We went on a Sunday night and tried to come back Monday, but it was closed. We'll return. Totally recommend this great place. Bartenders are cute and the vibe is low-key.

“it’s ok”

I recall one of the owners from his time at a previous bar years ago, and his best friend working at several other gay venues too. Both seemed like nice people who enjoyed bartending. They opened a gay bar together called Fluid, and it was quite popular for its first four or five years. Eventually one owner took over, which caused some loss of business, but Fluid still does moderate business after many years while other gay bars have closed. Regarding bartenders at a gay bar, you should expect a bitter, bitchy one—it's a gay bar, and some people enjoy being served by that type, so get over it.
