“great gym”
It's a fantastic gym to visit. Very convenient with lots of quality equipment. They keep upgrading things and the staff is friendly. Plenty of attractive people, but you can still get a solid workout in.

“dirty and creepy place”
I don't even use the showers there anymore. The place feels too creepy and dirty with all the cruising constantly happening. At least they don't masturbate in the sauna and shower like they do in West Hollywood. I've stopped going there. I go to gyms to work out. If that's what you're looking for, pick a different location.

“Pretty darn gay gym!”
This 24 Hour Fitness at Colorado and Alameda is well-known as a very gay gym. The facility is decent overall, though it seems to take forever for repairs when something breaks. Also, the hot tub isn't very hot for some reason. It gets extremely crowded Monday through Thursday from around 4:30 to 8:30 p.m., like most busy gyms, and even parking and lockers can be hard to find. The showers, hot tub area, sauna, and steam room can be very cruisy at times. I'm honestly amazed how much cruising happens given it's a mixed gay and straight environment. I've had a 24 Hour membership for years, so I got in when it was cheap. Current prices are still competitive.
