WeHo Rainbow Crosswalk
Rainbow crosswalks in one of the nation’s most iconic gay neighborhoods
About
The WeHo Rainbow Crosswalk, installed in 2012, was one of the first permanent rainbow crosswalks in the United States. It sits at the intersection of Santa Monica Boulevard and San Vicente Boulevard in West Hollywood's iconic gay neighborhood. These crosswalks serve as both a pedestrian safety feature and a bright symbol of LGBTQ+ acceptance. You can walk across them anytime; they are visible year-round.
