About
This is Texas's first rainbow crosswalk, at Westheimer and Taft in Montrose. A nearby utility box is painted with the image of a 21-year-old killed by a hit-and-run driver there in 2016. The crosswalk and memorial honor Montrose's legacy as the epicenter of Houston's gay culture.
