The Inn & Spa at Parkside is Sacramento's historic Fong Mansion B&B and day spa, built in 1936 for the Chinese Ambassador. This LGBTQ+ family-owned inn offers 11 rooms, many with couples hot tubs, and a 6-room spa for day visits or overnight stays. The vibe is luxurious and quiet, with a full two-course breakfast served in the refurnished dining room with individual couples tables.
The inn sits across from Southside Park, between U and V streets. Hours are 10am to 6pm daily. The current owners, the Kreun family, took over in 2013. One recent guest called it "one of the most beautiful B&Bs we have stayed in." For a night out, the Citizen Hotel nearby offers a lively bar scene.

“Beautiful Bed and Breakfast”
This is one of the most beautiful bed and breakfasts we have ever visited. We have stayed there twice. On our last visit, staff mentioned that the gay couple who owns it is in the process of selling. We're curious to see what happens next. Even though the B&B advertises in gay print and online outlets, the place itself doesn't feel particularly gay. Aside from a few LGBTQ-friendly movies available for borrowing, there are no signs that it was gay-owned. There are no gay marketing materials, newspapers, brochures, artwork, or rainbow flags displayed.
