“Not your run of the mill Hilton”
This hotel feels very stylish with a Mediterranean-inspired look. The rooms are nicely equipped, and the fitness center with spa services is excellent. Even though it's a large convention hotel, the layout is convenient, the atmosphere is inviting, and the staff are extremely friendly. As you pull up under the porte-cochere, you can see the San Diego skyline, Coronado Island, and the Coronado Bridge—and those stunning views appear throughout the hotel. The lobby bar is a must-visit spot. It's only about a five-minute walk to the Gaslamp District. For the first time, I walked back to my hotel from a night out in the Gaslamp instead of Hillcrest. I had a fantastic time and really enjoyed this hotel.
