Walk in and you're greeted by the smell of pine and a crackling fire. Fireside Lodge is a log cabin B&B where every room has its own river rock fireplace, and the communal outdoor fire pit is perfect for marshmallow roasting. Owners Tracy and Steve took over in 2016, bringing their hospitality background to this all-inclusive retreat. It's dog-friendly, so your pup is welcome too.
The lodge offers complimentary bikes and kayaks in summer, snowshoes and sledding in winter. There's a hot tub, dry sauna, and game room. Breakfast includes a waffle bar, and afternoon wine and cheese are served daily. Fresh baked cookies on arrival. It's a solid base for exploring South Lake Tahoe. You'll find a relaxed, family-friendly vibe here.
