Originally built as a private home in 1842, Blue60 Guest House was restored and opened in 2015. Owner Joshua Smith, a former photographer, hosts photography workshops here. The five-suite guest house sits across the street from The Phoenix, a gay bar, and is six blocks from the French Quarter. You'll find Cajun bistros and jazz clubs steps away. The communal courtyard and jacuzzi offer a peaceful retreat.

“Comfy, low-key sophistication”
Josh was an amazing host for our New Orleans visit, and Blue60 is a wonderful place. Beautiful walks in the Marigny area and incredible food made it a perfect home base. It's also right across from The Phoenix bar, which is ideal.
