About

Walking into the Lord Baltimore Hotel, you'll notice its striking Art Deco architecture in the lobby and exterior. This historic hotel offers a convenient location near the Inner Harbor, with a rooftop bar for evening drinks. It's a family-friendly, mixed-straight-gay crowd, with moderate pricing for standard rooms.

The hotel sits a few blocks from the Inner Harbor and a short walk to Mount Vernon, the local gayborhood. However, the immediate area can feel sketchy at night and on weekends. On the plus side, the free Charm City Circulator bus stops nearby, making it easy to hop around downtown. Rooms are reasonably comfortable but not memorable. “Beautiful Art Deco lobby”

People who love Art Deco architecture will appreciate this hotel's exterior and lobby. Our room was okay in terms of comfort but not particularly noteworthy. It's located a few blocks from the Inner Harbor and within walking distance to Mount Vernon, the gayborhood. The area isn't the greatest, and the streets near the hotel can feel unsafe, particularly at night and on weekends when fewer office workers are around. Luckily, the free Charm City Circulator bus is nearby, running a loop between Mount Vernon, Federal Hill, and the Inner Harbor about every 10 minutes.
