“Landmark Hotel”
For anyone staying in downtown Detroit, this is an excellent hotel. The room was standard Marriott quality, but the view is extraordinary — mine was on the 60th floor overlooking the Detroit River and the Canadian side. I suggest taking the complimentary weekday tour to learn about the history of this iconic building and hotel. It's not very close to gay bars or the main gay area of Detroit, but honestly there isn't one centralized location; everything is scattered, so you'll need to drive.
