“late night drive turns out all right”
The staff were friendly enough, though it was clear that my boyfriend and I didn't quite fit in. Overall, a decent hotel, fairly clean, and room service was prompt. I'd return.

“Literally in center of city”
This was among the first major mainstream hotel brands to open uptown, situated right in the center of the city at the intersection of the two main streets in uptown Charlotte. It's close to museums and Discovery Place, across from Bank of America's corporate headquarters and the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center. The rooms were very nice and consistent with the Marriott brand. Parking was convenient, with self-parking at $12 per day and valet at $18. The hotel has 438 rooms, making it a good-sized property in a beautiful city.
