Everything here is great. The enchiladas are my favorite.

The food is very good, but I think the prices are higher than at similar restaurants.

“THE Best!”
I've loved Barrio Cafe since it first opened in an unexpected area. As someone who considers myself a foodie, I really enjoy checking out new spots and cuisines, and Mexican food is a favorite of mine. We're lucky in Arizona to have many Mexican restaurants, but no matter where I eat, I end up comparing the food to Barrio Cafe. Without a doubt, this small place serves the freshest and most creative meals I've ever had, and it's essential to take visitors there when they want the very best. The chef is a local gem, and I can't think of a more fitting restaurant to represent Phoenix's diverse culinary scene. For me, it's my top choice for first dates because, in addition to the food, the vibe is welcoming and the drinks are sneaky good! Whatever you order, be sure to get the guacamole with your meal, and coffee after. Both are prepared at your table, and I promise you will leave full, happy, and in a festive mood. One more thing: they don't take reservations and parking is scarce. Plan ahead so you're not disappointed. Absolutely 5 stars.

“Best mexican I have had!”
My partner and I took my mom for Mother's Day. Mom and I ordered the Pollo Pablano, while my partner had the pork that's slow-cooked for 12 hours. All of us loved our dishes. My partner and I will eat here every time we return to Phoenix.

“Comida Chingado!”
As the title says, the food is incredible. Don't miss this gem in Phoenix. Great margaritas, rotating art... and then there's the food. The mole is unbelievable, just like in the movie, the chef's sauces are like water for chocolate.
