The place looked nice and the food was good, but management was awful. They were understaffed, servers were stressed and behind even though they tried, and the hostess had to help out. We waited an extremely long time, and my date got food poisoning from the $80 meal.

“Excellent”
I came only once for a company holiday party, but that evening made such an impression that I still think about going back. By the way, the mojito is incredible.

“Hip Latin restaurant downtown”
The chefs known from TV, Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger, own this restaurant. It's on a busy street in downtown LA's business district. Our group ate here before a concert at Staples Center, and the food was very good. I tried paella for the first time at this place and it was excellent. Entree prices are in the mid-$20s to low-$30s. It was a wonderful dining experience. Also, take the free shuttle if you're going to a concert or show.
