About

You might expect a romantic Italian-French fusion spot in West Hollywood to be exclusively gay, but Cafe La Boheme draws a mixed crowd of 30- and 40-somethings. The gothic decor, crystal chandeliers, and private booths give it an upscale, passionate vibe. Known for its daily happy hour (5-7:30 PM) with half-off fun bites and drinks, this place offers deals like $6 filet mignon tacos.

The crowd is lively yet romantic, making it suitable for dates or group outings. The menu covers American, European, seafood, sandwiches, and burgers. While some regulars note the straight presence has grown, the atmosphere remains welcoming to all. Reservations are recommended for the main dining room—the happy hour bar area is first-come, first-served.

Cafe La Boheme sits in West Hollywood, a historic hub of LGBTQ+ nightlife and dining. The neighborhood balances upscale eateries with a welcoming, mixed-crowd atmosphere.

During the pandemic, they transformed their parking lot into a fantastic outdoor dining space, and they've wisely kept it. It's now a wonderful place for an outdoor brunch.

“i agree with LAhotLesbochica”

West Hollywood is being taken over by straight people, and we're being pushed out of our neighborhood and our spots. You can't go anywhere and feel comfortable enough to check people out or make a move without worrying if they're straight or gay, as if it weren't already hard enough in the rest of the city. The place looks amazing, but from the pictures it seems there are more straight couples than gays or lesbians... seriously?

“Best Happy Hour!”

They have a two-for-one deal on all appetizers and drinks on Saturdays. This spot is both kinky and elegant. The steak tacos and pot stickers are great, and the desserts are amazing. The waiters are cute too!

“Cafe La Boheme has the best happy hour”

Cafe La Boheme has the best happy hour in LA. It's a very sexy restaurant full of passion. Happy hour is daily from 5-7:30, with half off all their tasty bites and most drinks, plus $5 glasses of wine. The bites include three filet mignon tacos for $6, which are amazing. I also love the chicken potstickers and the dates wrapped in bacon with blue cheese. The food quality and flavor are top-notch and reasonably priced normally, but getting it all at half price is a delicious bargain.
