“Great food, good service, occasionally interesting people-watching.”
If you have friends who love organic and local ingredients, or have specific dietary needs, Hugo's is the spot. Nearly everything on the menu can be adapted in various ways, though I enjoy the dishes as they're originally listed. Hugo's is famous for breakfast, but I've also had a pleasant dinner there. Because it's so popular for morning meals, it's also a great place for watching people go by.

“Cute guys walking around.”
Hugo's is a nice spot to see men walking their dogs. I had brunch there, and the attractive people and the food were both great.

“Go for Breakfast ONLY”
Breakfast at Hugo's is pretty eclectic with many menu options and decent quality. They recently started serving dinner, and since I live just one block away, I went twice but won't return. The service was bad, the food was terrible for both me and my girlfriend, and it arrived 45 minutes after we ordered even though the place was nearly empty. Go somewhere else! Yuck.
