Saint Felix
American · Tapas Small Plates · West Hollywood, CA
About
Saint Felix isn't your typical WeHo scene. This mixed gay-straight spot on Robertson serves American tapas-style dishes and signature cocktails in a courtyard setting. The vibe is low-key but swanky, with friendly service and an outdoor area that's perfect for people-watching. It can get noisy and packed with bar-goers, making it better for groups. Open late until 2am on Fridays and Saturdays, it's a popular pre-game stop before hitting the clubs. One reviewer called it a place where "be kind to strangers" actually means something. But note: Yelp data suggests this venue may be permanently closed, so call ahead before heading out.

This is an excellent spot to have a drink with a friend or bring a date for dinner. It's relaxed yet stylish, with a great cocktail selection and pleasant staff. One of my top dining spots in West Hollywood.

“Bar Hopping Food Stop”
An excellent place for watching people, and the food is decent too. It's usually crowded with bar patrons after happy hour or before a night out. It gets loud, so it's best for a group outing.

“WHAT A NEAT SURPRISE!”
I was leaving one bar, crossing Santa Monica Boulevard, and turned east. Within just a few steps, I found myself somewhere I'd never been before. I've admitted in past reviews that I'm older, but I'm not clueless—yet sometimes I lose my bearings. This was one of those times. I ended up in the middle of this charming spot, where the idea of being kind to strangers seems real. They welcomed me like I'd always been there. I only had time for one drink, but I was treated so warmly, without any of the usual West Hollywood attitude, that I couldn't understand why I had to go. I didn't get to explore everything this place offers, but I'll definitely return.
