The courtyard features a back lawn with trees and flowers, making it a relaxing spot for an iced cappuccino or cafe au lait. “Excellent food and drink and friendly staff”

I had an iced cappuccino and a muffin while sitting on the patio, chatting with someone I'd never met before. It was a lovely day.

“Very Good Food and Drink, Boring People”

The back lawn is gorgeous, and simply being on it makes you happy. Visitors from the East or North in winter will wonder why they put up with cold and dreariness while sitting in warm sunshine in a beautiful large courtyard with a great lawn, trees, and flowers. The drinks are excellent – the coffee is incredibly strong. One cafe au lait has me jabbering for hours. It's a good place to work; free internet and indoor tables are always available, and you can spread out for hours if you like. There are lots of people to watch, but none are really interesting – just boring folks gossiping or talking about real estate, and poorly dressed. The standard attire is something awful: khaki shorts and a baseball cap. Palm Springs' glamour and intrigue are clearly dead, replaced by middle-class styles and values. In the last year of going there, I haven't seen a single woman in her 70s or older with excessive eye makeup and multiple plastic surgeries – the eccentric multimillionairesses who used to hang out with the gay crowd. And this place is very gay. Nope, none of that. Now it's no makeup and running shoes, and all the gay guys are extremely conservative bores. It's sad what has happened to Palm Springs.

“Well Traveled”

Great vibe; cool and trendy, but a little expensive. Worth checking out.

“Voted #1 for good reason”

This is the best gay-friendly coffee shop in town. Forget Starbucks, which is overrun with high school kids. This is where the men are. Bring your dog. Also check out the other location on East Palm Canyon.
