About

Bar: Beer & wine

Walking into Palm Greens Cafe, you'll notice the counter-service setup and the menu board filled with wraps, salads, and bowls. This is a deep fat fry-free zone, so everything is baked, grilled, or raw. Health-focused but not restrictive: vegan, gluten-free, and raw dishes sit alongside free-range poultry and wild-caught fish. Breakfast is served all day, and they have organic coffee, fresh juices, and smoothies.

The cafe opened in 2008 by Jeff and Greg, who brought their Maui experience (from Jawz Fish Tacos) to Palm Springs. It's a neighborhood hangout with outdoor seating, free WiFi, and a dog-friendly patio. They take reservations. Their wine list is strictly biodynamic or organic, with bottles priced $19-$45. If you want another upscale option nearby, Trio Restaurant is just a short walk away.

“Something For Everyone”

We visited Palm Greens based on recommendations from several people and were not let down. The menu is mostly organic vegetarian and vegan dishes, though there are a few meat options too. We came for lunch, but I've heard many praise their breakfast. They offer a wide variety of sandwiches, wraps, salads, and noodles. The staff member at the counter was extremely kind and took time to explain the menu. They are flexible and can make almost anything you request. I ordered the turkey club sandwich and asked for it as a wrap, which they did, and it was excellent. The wrap came with a cold, spicy carrot-cashew soup that is absolutely worth trying.
