“An oasis in the middle of muddy Guerneville”
The Applewood Inn is a wonderful bed and breakfast just a few minutes' walk from the main area of Guerneville, yet despite its closeness, it feels completely isolated—very calm, quiet, with a lovely pool and gardens. The restaurant stands out as one of the best in the region, and it's surprising that such a refined dining experience exists so near the somewhat grungy atmosphere of the Russian River area. Our meals were subtle and delicious, the staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous, and the wine list featured interesting local options.
