About
Cafe Mystique might seem like just another coffee spot, but it's actually a Mediterranean cafe that also serves breakfast and burgers. Located in the Castro, it has an open floor plan that makes it perfect for people-watching by the window. The food gets praise, though service can be slow during busy dinner hours. Drinks are delicious, and portions are just right. It's a solid choice for a relaxed meal, not a quick bite. If you're in no rush, grab a seat and enjoy the parade of characters on Castro Street. Regulars know the daily specials are worth checking out. For dessert nearby, hit up Bi-Rite Creamery down the street.

“Good food, slow service during dinnertime”
The food is excellent, although it's a bit expensive for my budget. Service can be slow when it's busy at dinner. Don't come if you're in a hurry. It took the server thirty minutes to take my order after I sat down, even though I already decided what to get from the menu outside. The portion size is appropriate. The drink was tasty.
