“Down home food in a great setting”
I ate breakfast here on a nice summer morning, and sitting outside was lovely for watching people while enjoying excellent food. Service is decent, but the food is even better. I would definitely come back.

“Food like Mom SHOULD HAVE COOKED.”
This spot serves great comfort food like mac and cheese, meatloaf, fried chicken, pork chops, and ribs. It's the kind of food everyone enjoys but feels guilty about, though it's so tasty you won't care. The place is excellent and always busy, so expect a short wait. They offer classic cocktails such as Manhattans, Old Fashioneds, and my favorite, a Moscow Mule served in a cold copper mug. Nothing says love like meatloaf and vodka. Prices are fair, the people are cool, the staff is great, it's near downtown, and the food is amazing. It's as good as an orgasm, and anyone who knows me knows I don't say that lightly. They're open late and offer takeout.
